John Nash (Chairman)
John is chairman of Sovereign Capital and has over twenty years experience in venture capital. He is a supporter of a number of charities for young people, is a Foundation Fellow of Corpus Christi College, Oxford and a governor of a private schools group. John is a former Chairman of the British Venture Capital Association.
He has an MA in Law from Oxford University and is a barrister.
Gilbert Chalk
Gilbert is Chairman of Barings English Growth Fund and a Director of a number of other companies. He is Chairman of two wildlife conservation charities. Gilbert has an MBA from Columbia Business School, New York.
Caroline Nash
Caroline trained as a stockbroker and then worked in the international merchant banking division of a French bank, travelling extensively in Africa. She is a former Counsellor for the Citizens Advice Bureau. Caroline has a BA in History from Bristol University.
Derek Sayer
Derek is Chairman of Regent Square Estate and a Director of several companies in both the
UK and abroad. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and Chairman of the RICS benevolent fund. In addition to being a trustee of three charities, Derek is a Justice of the Peace. He has an MA in Criminology and an MBA from Westminster.
