Assistance from Future

Future's work is underpinned by several core beliefs:

  1. The voluntary sector is an under-used, but well-equipped resource to meet the needs of young people

  2. There should be more sources of core funding for charities

  3. Charities need to leverage their resources and form networks with other bodies that can help them, which may well be similar charities with which they can share best practice

  4. Detailed monitoring of the impact charities are having is essential

Criteria

Future aims to support relatively small, non-national organisations which have both a replicable model and the capacity to replicate with advice, support and finance from Future and others.

Future will support organisations once they demonstrate they have:

  • An effective method for engaging and assisting young people
  • A stable financial footing
  • A model which is replicable in the medium to long term

Grants may be available to assist organisations, however funding is not the only aspect of Future's relationships with charities and we may assist charities without providing any money. Such assistance may take the form of helping to write a business plan or introducing charities to individuals or organisations who can aid their work. Future aims to help its charities become more effective and seeks to do whatever it can to enable charities to reach their goals.

If you think your organisation meets Future's criteria and could benefit from its assistance, please contact us.
